Pastel Garden Birthday Cards
It’s November birthday card time! This card features Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens stamps and Crystal White and Amethyst Purple Stardream 110# Cardstock.
I really enjoyed using the cardstock for ink blending – its surface softens the colors of the BOLD distress ink colors, and gives it a smooth, shimmery pastel look.

Crystal White and Amethyst Purple Stardream 110# Cardstock.
Other supplies used included in links below.
1
First, I stamped the snails, grass, and flowers from Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens in Gina K Amalgam ink – Obsidian. I stamped the images on Neenah Solar White 110#.
I colored the images using Copic Sketch Markers and die cut them.
2
I cut the front panel of the card front Crystal White Stardream to 4”x 5.25” inches.
Using various distress inks (Candied Apple, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet) I color blended a rainbow block on the card front.
I used iCraft Purple Tape to block of the top inch and the lower portion of the card panel to make myself a straight line.
I stamped the “happy birthday” sentiment from Lawn Fawn Party Animal in Versafine in black.
I embossed the sentiment using WOW Clear Gloss embossing powder and heat set it.
I adhered the card front panel to card base (standard A2 size) cut from Amethyst Purple Stardream 110# Cardstock.
3
Using Art Glitter Glue and double-sided foam squares, I adhered my die cut images to the front panel.
I added some pearl embellishments from StudioKatia.
